A chinese temple celebration
This picture was taken on chap goh meh which marks the last day of the lunar chinese new year , at a Chines Temple in a town called Mesapol which is 10 minuets drive from my town Sipitang.
The reason for this celebration on this paticular temple is to celebrate the so called birthday of the Gods where they worship, devotees believe that on this day is the birthday of theses gods and the god will enter the body of the chosen and they will be in a state of trance for the nite.

devotees carrying the idol
i was trying to create a sihouette image of the devotee craying the idol on a bench using the fire as my ambient light, thus i was trying to create an image showing how the devotee showing their offering to their gods.
